Mila’s design team is led by an industrial designer educated from Parsons, the New School, NYC. Our team of designers works tirelessly to develop our customers’ designs for production, as well as incorporate new designs upon request.

We follow up with factories periodically to review the various deliverables of the production schedule. We help factories find solutions for any problems that might occur during the production timeline. All production timelines are updated on google sheets and monitored on a weekly basis.

Using these guidelines, we ensure the customer that all our products are lab tested to be food safe, lead free and pass any other government requirements. Once a customer approves a sample, we keep an identical signed sample on site as a reference point during manufacture and inspection.

We ensure optimum product weight, and usage of 304 SS instead of 201 wherever relevant. A detailed inspection sheet is made for each product based on functional, visual and dimensional parameters.

To maintain the quality of these products, Mila performs an inspection at various stages: when the raw material is received, initial manufacturing, finishing, packaging and before dispatch. 

Our inspectors perform an inspection during production as well as  when final cartons are packed before dispatch. All packaging specs are verified and barcode functionality is tested at the time of final inspection. A drop test is also conducted. Photos, inspection reports and lab test reports are sent to the customer before dispatch.
